Mufti Adil Ayub, an advisor to numerous youths and adults in Southern California, is a traditionally trained Islamic scholar from the prestigious University of Darul Uloom Karachi. Before embarking on his journey to enhance his knowledge of Islamic Rules and Regulations, he attained his bachelor's in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from Cal-State University, Fullerton. In his college years, he was privileged to serve as the president for Muslim Student Association and Vice President for Accountant Society, where he outshined through his leadership skills. After attaining his Bachelors, he served as an accountant in the SoCal for some time.
After marriage, he was inspired and guided by Allah Almighty to acquire the greater knowledge of Islam and its true depths. He set out with his wife to Karachi, Pakistan and attained his primary Islamic education from the highly admired and honorable Arabic medium “Jamia Ibn-e-Abbas”. There, Mufti Adil mastered the Arabic language, grammar, and literature, along with the Tafseer of the Holy Quran, Hadith, Islamic Jurisprudence, and various other forms of Islamic Sciences. He later transferred to the world-renowned Institution of “Jamia Darul-Uloom, Karachi”, where he was honored to achieve his Aalimiyyah degree (Master’s equivalent in Arabic and Islamic studies).
Mufti Adil then worked towards his post-graduate equivalence by spending two additional years learning the science of issuing religious verdicts (fatwas) under the keen supervision and guidance of one of the greatest living scholars, Justice (Rtd) Shaykh Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani, along with Mufti Rafi Usmani, Mufti Mehmood Ashraf, Mufti Abur Rauf Sakravi, and Mufti Abdul Manan (حفظهم الله). In 2019, he returned to the states with his wife and two daughters. Currently, he is a teacher to local youths at the Islamic Center of Mid-Cities in Downey, CA, where he also conducts short Islamic courses for the local community. Along with this, he is often invited to speak to youths and the community of different counties throughout SoCal. He is similarly volunteering his time teaching online through different organization to educate and shape the future of many young adults. He is passionate about helping society positively grasp the Islamic lifestyle while balancing the worldly life to build a strong future for themselves and their upcoming generations.
With the little free time he has left, Mufti Adil loves to increase his knowledge daily by reading and pondering upon Islamic Literature and spending as much time as he can with his family.
